Joli and I are currently reading this book. It is a book well known by our parents and many conservative Christian parents in the church today. Ted Tripp does a wonderful job of pointing out the Biblical method of training up children. Parents are called to be shepherds: caring leaders. I am learning a lot and looking forward to raising all of our children for the glory of God. That is what it is all about! It is not about raising kids to be great at speech, debate, sports, or the spelling bee champion, though that is nice. We are raising children to love the Lord and to raise a Godly seed. That is more important than anything else on this world!
