The Loss of Randy Beaty
26 10 2007This afternoon, Joli called my cell phone while I was at lunch with a good friend, Aaron James. I had just spoken with her, so I was curious to why she was calling again so soon. Her voice sounded sad and troubled. She told me that she had some very sad news. I knew right away that something terrible must have happened to someone on the east coast.
Joli shared the very VERY sad news that Jesse Beaty’s brother, Randy, died just an hour earlier. Jesse is Kendra Howard’s fiance, and they are planning to get married early in 2008. Jesse and Randy were very close, so my heart grieves for my dear brother, Jesse. I just can’t believe the news and am shocked as I write. Randy had just left the Lynchburg area with a friend, Daniel, to drive to the Howard’s home for dinner (Libertytown, MD). As he headed down the highway (56), it appears he missed the stop sign (though it was rainy out), and a small red pickup truck slammed into the driver’s side. Randy’s close friend, Daniel, was taken to a nearby hospital and was talking! We pray for his safety and the other two drivers who are also at local Lynchburg hospitals.
Jesse, if you ever read this entry, know that I am here for you brother. You and Randy are such wonderful Christian men, and I know how special your relationship was with him. I only had the honor of meeting him last Christmas, and I could tell he was a cheerful and godly man! Praise God that he is rejoicing now with our Savior Jesus Christ. I am sorry for your loss and your family’s. I just do not know of anything more I can say at this point as I still sit here in San Diego speechless and with much sorrow in my heart.
Now may our God, the God of all comfort, bless, encourage, strengthen, settle and lift up your soul because of the great love of God our Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be glory in now and forever. Praying for you and your family, Jesse.

Thank you David. I appreciate your prayers.
I am gaining a more intimate knowledge of God’s grace and goodness, even in the midst of shock and surprise.
We live in a world at war, and all men lose fathers, brothers and sons. I was blessed to enjoy an amazing brother for the time I had.
I appreciate your friendship. God is not a tame God………but He is Good.
Thankful,
Your Brother Jesse

Hello,
My name is Ray Uttaro and I was the first responder a little over a year ago at this accident. Today I had the great joy of meeting face to face aith Danial. I was touched at how he is such a God loving young man, He gave me the web site of a few of Randy’s songs and now I know why I was thier at that accident. My faith was shaken that day but as I got to talk to Danial I know how much God loves all of us. I am very sorry for the loss of Randy. I made a promise to Danial that day that I would be their for him and I woudl care for his friend and I have now been able to do that. I ask that you al keep Danial in your prayers he and his family are facing some very tough times and at this time of year we need to remember what Christ would do, Love, and give from the heart
I wish I had known Randy I beleive he woudl have been able to spreed the news of Jesus to a lot of people,
God Bell all of you
