We just returned from a two week vacation with the Howards back in Maryland. It was such a relaxing time with everyone, though we missed three of Joli’s sisters: Kendra, Heidi and Eden. They were working this summer and could not get time off to see us. We hope they will make an effort to come to San Diego in the fall.

We returned to a different climate in San Diego. While we were gone, our city had record high temperatures, and it has been as humid as the east coast.

Joli is now almost seven months pregnant and just starting to show. She looks great and is doing an awesome job taking care of Joel. She is a great mom and wife. Joel has not started to walk though he is very close. We will keep you all posted. Please check our gallery for the latest Chism Family pictures.

The sad news of July was that my uncle, Pat Chism, went home to be with the Lord on July 1st. He battled pancreatic cancer for over 12 months. Some of you may have met him at our wedding. He was such a wonderful uncle to work with in our family business. I will miss him deeply, but he is present with our Savior.
